Our Objectives

SBIA works to advance Singapore’s recreational boating industry through the following key objectives:

• Promote Recreational Boating
Encourage participation and awareness of boating as a lifestyle and leisure activity.

• Support Professionalism and Training
Elevate industry standards through education, training options, and best practice sharing.

• Champion Marine Conservation
Advocate for responsible boating and protection of our marine environment.

• Represent the Industry Locally and Internationally
Act as Singapore’s voice in global forums and represent industry interests at home.


• Engage with Public Agencies
Serve as a consultative partner in regulatory matters affecting the boating sector.

• Lead Industry Forums
Host meetings and roundtables to discuss key issues, opportunities, and policy directions.

• Facilitate Networking
Connect businesses, professionals, and stakeholders to grow opportunities.

• Conduct Research and Analysis
Develop insights and data to guide industry planning and growth.
